The Majestic Mount Snowdon
Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa in Welsh) is one of the most popular mountains in the UK for walkers, and a popular destination for many tourists to north Wales. It is the highest mountain in Wales, standing at 1085 meters. You can take a train to the top during the main seasons, where there is a café and a viewpoint with breathtaking views of the Snowdonia mountains. The Llanberis route, which begins in Llanberis itself, is the most straightforward of the six main paths to the summit. In bad weather, despite the fact that the track is wide and generally easy to follow, extreme caution should be exercised because things can quickly go wrong! Often check the local forecast and come prepared for whatever weather you can face, including warm coats, good boots or trainers, and waterproofs in the winter, and plenty of fluid, sunscreen, and warm clothing in the summer.
Fabulous Snowdon Mountain Railway
In Gwynedd, north-west Wales, the Snowdon Mountain Railway is a narrow-gauge rack and pinion mountain railway. It is a 4.7-mile tourist railway that runs from Llanberis to the summit of Snowdon, Wales’ highest point. Take the popular Snowdon Mountain Railway to the summit of Snowdon for an unforgettable experience for the kids, or visit Greenwood Forest Park, North Wales’ Best Family Attraction.

If you’re looking for something a little more adventurous, there are three Zip World ziplining locations in the city, as well as paintball and Segway adventures in the woods at Dragon Raiders Activity Park in Criccieth.
