Benllech Beach

Anglesey has some of the most stunning stretches of sand in the British Isles and the Blue Flag awarded Benllech Beach is one of the best.

For walkers, it’s perfect and at low tide, there’s a lovely coastal walk to Red Wharf Bay, where you can have a refreshing drink and a bite to eat at the Ship Inn or the Boat House.

The ideal place to exercise your dog, designated areas in the summer months but out of season – no problem – they can run wild, and my dogs love it!

long sandy beach with views of the sea and people in the distance

A huge expanse of beach, great for children – clean yellow sand, gentle waves and lots of rock pools. Great sand for building, streams for paddling or dam building, everything a child could want!

Good waters for boating, kayaking and swimming!
Free toilets, café and Ice cream shop on the prom. Gorgeous views of distant ships and Puffin Island.
Anglesey is the best!
