Find Your Perfect North Wales Escape

I have been to Anglesey and specifically Cemaes Bay for 60 years so have known of The Moorings for a long time. Staying in one of the Bay’s premier spots did not disappoint and we had a lovely week. We stayed in the ground floor appartment which actually slept 9 people over 3 bedrooms but we only needed the one. The property is obviously a converted villa and as such some of the layout takes a bit of getting used to but it proved spacious, comfortable and warm. The weather was kind and we were out and about walking the beaches and coastal path much of the time but the sunroom was our preferred spot for eating and relaxing as the view over the bay was exceptional. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and well equipped, oven, washer, drier etc all newish, cupboards well stocked, beds comfortable, towels a plenty, boardgames for rainy days, outside areas a bonus, parking for 2 cars etc etc The hosts were friendly & helpful in all matters Thanks for a lovely stay, we’ll be back

Everything you need in village,nice coffee shops and eateries,5 min walk to beach,bungalow well kept,but don’t think suitable for 6 adults,small double bed needs a topper as mattress is uncomfortable ,apart from that lovely holiday home

The farmhouse is roomy the pictures don’t do it justice , very homely , comfortable, clean , well equipped , beds where comfortable, lovely and peaceful everyone slept so well . All the family really enjoyed there stay everything was positive about this Farmhouse planning on coming back for next year.

This place the best to me and my friends. The place was clean and is in a scenic place. The host was as responsive and made us feel at home. I recommend this place to any family or even large groups that need to spend time away together. Our extra guests were able to find accommodation around the reception area. Airbnb Sept 2026

It was wonderful to revisit wern-y-Wylan court after so many years,to find it so well cared for and upgraded in such a simpathatic way. For a large family gathering wern-y-Wylan was a perfect place.

Pamela is a lovely host. The cottage and surroundings are more beautiful than the pictures. As a family of 4 we loved our stay. Airbnb Sept 2026
