It’s a lovely bungalow, with a really peaceful and relaxing garden. Situated right at the Malltraeth Estuary. We’ve been to Anglesey numerous times, so knew the location. For others who may not have visited before, it’s worth noting, to get the best of Anglesey, you need to travel around the island. Simdde Wen is perfectly located in the centre of Beaumaris. It was beautifully presented and very well equipped, feeling sufficiently spacious for a grown up family of 5. Beaumaris itself is a charming village, full of character wirh great restaurants and shops. It's a great base for exploring the coast and Angelsey's fabulous beaches. All round, we loved it. Stayed at Hendy with family hired both apartments 17 of us. I was pleasantly surprised with the space and cleanliness of the apartments it was very comfortable and had everything you could need for a large family holiday. Ideal place and would recommend to anyone visiting Anglesey. Aug 2024

I totally recommend this holiday home. Beautiful house with everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect as a nice quiet road but very close to the center of Rhosneigr & the beach- just a few minutes walk. Also a perfect location to explore the whole of Anglesey. It is a spacious cottage was clean on arrival and in an ideal location within walking distance to shop pubs a hotel cafes and most importantly a great beach for dogs to run .We did have a problem with the decking area but the owner sorted it the same day .My only wish was for a TV in the downstairs kitchen as I have a mobility problem and couldn’t get up to comfortable lounge upstairs to watch tv .However there are bedrooms downstairs which was a bonus for me .Plenty of free parking across the road with disabled spaces too .The games room was good for pool competitions. Every member of the family enjoyed their stay. Every day something different to do and see. The villa was as described spacious clean in fact everything you could wish for. The showers were amazing. I cant praise this holiday property enough...to start with on arrival there is a key codecso really easy. Inside on arrival property was spotlessly clean. Lovely touches that made lofe with a todler so easy. Dishwasher tablets, washing capsules, bottle of prosecco all supplied. Everything you would need to relax was there. Sensor lights which helps a little one if they wake and not sure where they are. A window from kitchen to hugh conservatory so i could watch toddler when i was in the kitchen. Lovely flow to the property. Then the view...stunning doesnt capture the view. Plus the sunsets out to sea which is beautiful. So relaxing. Hottub brilliant! All the bedrooms were nicely decorated so home from home feel. The beach is sandy and only a few minutes walk from the proprty so again ideal for a young family. The cafe in the village does lovely food too. To top it off we left some clothes behind in one of the bedrooms...lorraine spotted this before we did a is posting them back for us. What a gem. The View is a lovely apartment, everything you could possibly want for a relaxing holiday. Great beach things provided in the shed. We were lucky to see the amazing Super Moon from the balcony, a bonus. It was nice to meet Nigel, the owner. We will return. Aug 2024

On arriving in Cemaes Bay we were struck by the peace and breathtaking views of the bay. Penrhyn Cottage did certainly not disappoint and my husband and I just smiled at each other on driving up to the property. It promised to be dog friendly and it certainly was - Molly had her own bowls, blankets, treats and balls! The view of the sea from the upstairs lounge was the icing on the cake and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already talked about returning again. If there was any criticism at all is that one more saucepan (only one as part of a steamer) would make cooking easier and there was a lot of cobwebs and spiders so the cleaning could have been a bit more thorough but it's a big job to clean a house from top to bottom every changeover and didn't take long to hoover them up myself. We are a family party of 8 and had a lovely relaxed break. Entertained ourselves with the various board games on site. The beach was 3 mins walk and beautiful, we even saw dolphins or whales - we couldnt decide. Caernarfon was really close by and the castle is well worth the visit. David is a great host, communication was excellent and response was really quick. The co-op is a 10 min drive so take food/drink with you, so you can relax as soon as you get there! A beautiful, spacious house with stunning views over the sea from almost every room. The lounge with its giant comfy sofa was great to relax on and take in the stunning views all around. It was also a good location to enjoy the summer sunsets from. David was so quick to respond to all enquiries and couldn't have been more helpful. The walk along the coastline from Trefor was one of the nicest we'd bee on with the beautiful views over the water where we were lucky enough to spot some dolphins swimming in the distance. First impressions, wow! The sunset over the sea and the architecture of the property to take advantage of it is just stunning. Not anything I’ve had the pleasure of seeing so beautifully before. It’s rare to find a property with 4 bedrooms that all have en-suite. It was certainly a god send when we came back from climbing Snowdon in the wet and windy and freezing summit temperatures. Had a great stay here with 4 adults and a 4 year old. The house is perfectly located and within walking distance to the local spar, pub and beach. We had stayed at Coach House Faner six years ago and our grandchildren (now 11 and 13, with a 6 year old who was not with us last time) have been talking about it ever since. We hadn’t managed to return until now and are so pleased that we did. Everything was as good as we had all remembered. Excellent property, comfortable, well-equipped and a good location. David and Fiona are ideal hosts, welcomed us, showed us around and had good advice on places to go, shops, etc. The children, particularly the 6 year old, enjoyed helping with the hens and ducks on the smallholding; thank you, David, for your patience! The birds coming to the feeders also kept them interested. Coach House Faner is an ideal base for families. The children are already asking us when we are going again. July 2024

The location is great, 20 mins walk from the sea and we were so lucky with the weather! The fact that the property is right next to a big field with a playground and the Pancake House with a soft play area made it perfect for our group with 3 kids under six years old. Michelle was a very responsive and friendly host. Only issue is that sound of footsteps travels downwards so if you are on the top floor you need to be quiet moving around. The property was excellent with a well tended enclosed garden. The barbecue and hot tub were a particular hit. Rooms were spacious and well equipped with the exception of the double bedroom. This was quite small and the bed was very soft and uncomfortable. There was parking for 3 cars right by the front door. Lovely cottage, well equipped and comfortable with a wonderful garden to the rear with several seating areas. In a beautiful location very near the Malltraeth estuary - fantastic for birdwatchers. We stayed at Tyddyn Mon last year as a 4 generation family, and booked again for the same weekend this year. Our stay was even better, our great grandchildren, another year older, made it for all of us. The house is ideal, as there is room outside for the children to play and the outside and inside play areas were very popular, not forget the chickens, who were a big favorite with the 20 month old. The facilities in the house were second to non, cots, highchairs and bed guard provided on request. We will definitely go back, probably next year. Mustn't forget the pancake house, where we had a great lunch on the Saturday. May 2024

We were fortunate to stay at Ysgubor while having renovation work done on our house. The host was very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The cottage had everything we could absolutely need and more. It was comfortable, very clean and the fittings and furniture were all of a high standard. We couldn’t have asked for more and we highly recommend the accommodation. The location is very convenient being close to the A55 and there is ample parking. The dogs 🐕 , cats 🐈‍⬛ and chickens 🐓 were an added bonus as were the beautiful, fresh eggs that we could provide on site. 🥚 🪺 Apr 2024

This apartment has it all. Stunning views from most rooms and a lovely balcony for sunny days. The apartment is really well equipped and super comfortable. An excellent log burner for cosy nights in. The house is superb. We were a 3 generation party of 15 celebrating a 60th birthday and New Year. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable and mainly ensuite. The upstairs lounge and kitchen/dining room easily accommodated us all. The house is in a fairly remote location but we had everything we needed for the weekend delivered by asda. Any last minute items were easily accessible by car from the Tesco express in Benllech. The local area provided lots of walks along the beaches and coastal paths. Lovely house we where a group of 8 adults and two dogs. The location of the house was brilliant with beaches either side and a show all to the village and pub. Every room had views of the sea and all where en suite. Kitchen was very well equipped and the cooker and microwave easy to use. Extremely well appointed cottage, everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Before we arrived I was a little bit anxious that it wouldn't look as good as the photographs that are on the website, however the cottage was every bit as good as the website when we arrived. The property was very clean and more spacious than we originally thought it was going to be and very comfortable. There was every kitchen implement you could possible need for your stay. It was a bit of a luxury to have on-suite bathrooms in each of the 4 bedrooms and a separate washroom on the ground floor. The outside space was safe and had plenty of seating to watch the coming and going of activities on the beach and harbour weather permitting. We would definitely stay here again and it was well worth the money we paid to secure our stay. Nov 2023

Fabulous stay at Cable Cottage. We loved our stay at Cable Cottage, the location was wonderful, right on a very quiet beach and the Anglesey coastal path. We were at the cottage during storm Debi and enjoyed watching the large breaking waves from the lounge window in the quiet and warmth of the cottage. All the facilities at the cottage superb, and we loved being there, we meant to eat out some nights but decided to cook in the great kitchen and spend our time enjoying the cottage. Would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone. Thanks for letting us share it.

Perfect location, views of the bay. All was very good except 2 out of 4 towels had a really disgusting smell and could not be used. Not sure what caused this as they appeared to have been laundered. Oct 2023  

The pictures really don't do this property justice. We chose it for the location & because it's dog friendly - it's about a 5 min walk to the estuary & then, once you've crossed the footbridge, you're only a minute or so until you reach the beach, which is massive & usually pretty quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed & it was useful to have a dishwasher & large dining table. The lounge & French doors were fab & it was great having a smart TV. The main bedroom was spacious & the super-king bed was really comfortable, it was useful having an en-suite but we mainly used the main bathroom as it was more spacious & had a fab large shower. The small lawn at the rear was ideal for our dogs & the conservatory was really useful for drying them off after a trip to the beach. Even though the property front door opens right onto Church Street we barely ever heard any traffic. I'd love to stay here again. Sept 2023

First visit to Cemaes Bay, it’s a very pleasant village with lots of walks nearby. Ty Lawr is a gem. Masses of space, and we really appreciated all the bedrooms being ensuite. Easy parking and superb views over the adjacent harbour. Hope to return again. Sept 2023

We had a wonderful stay in Plas Diwedd , which is a clean & comfortable "home from home", & very light & airy. It has a wonderful lounge with additional sun room, with superb views to the sea , & the cows would stroll by a few times a day. The kitchen was well equipped, & we enjoyed some good evening meals, a few drinks & card games around the large kitchen table. The owner was very quick to reply to any questions we had prior to our arrival. It's in a great location for walks with our dog, with 2 lovely beaches within 10-15 minutes walk. Our favorite walk was walking to one beach & taking the coastal path to the other one,  & enjoying the views on the way. We also did parts of the coastal walk near Holyhead, & South stack lighthouse, which is well worth a visit. A visit to the local White Eagle pub in Rhoscolyn is recommended, as is a visit to the Sea Shanty café in Trearddur. The score of 4 for "comfort" was due to the beds, which were not as comfortable as we hoped for , but we still slept well. All in all, it was a great holiday & we fell in love with the area. Absolutely lovely. Very clean, has nice outside space at the back, and a very short walk to all the beaches, shops, and restaurants. It’s better than the pictures online and seems bigger than it really is.
