Ty Mawr shares the same dramatic views as Eisteddfa and Bwthyn Bach. A great house for families who will enjoy the games room with full sized pool table and darts board. TV room with wwii fit and piano, and spacious sitting room with open fire. Four bedrooms, 2 doubles, both ensuite, and 2 twin rooms. Can be booked with Bwthyn Bach to provide additional space for two people in ground floor annex. Dogs welcome.
Ty Mawr is the original farmhouse for Eisteddfa farm and offers comfortable accommodation for families and groups of up to 8 people. In a beautiful rural location the house is easily accessible being approx half a mile from the main road up a private driveway. Entering into the slate floored hallway the bright kitchen diner is on your right, with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Further fridge and freezer space is located in the utility room with washing machine and dryer.
There is a comfortable TV room with piano, with a games room with slate bed pool table and dart board leading off. The elegant sitting room is the focal point of the house, with room for everyone to sit around the open log fire. A starter supply of logs is provided during the winter months.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, both en-suite, and two twin bedded rooms together with family bathroom with separate bath and shower. Bed linen and towels are provided. The house has central heating throughout.
WIFI is available throughout Ty Mawr cottage although slow in some rooms due to the thick walls.
Outside the garden has outdoor seating and BBQ and shares the same great views as the house. There is parking for two cars in front of the house with further parking available if required.
Guests are welcome to bring up to 3 dogs and are kindly asked to make sure they clean up after their pets, not allow them on the furniture or upstairs and not to leave them in the property unattended unless securely crated. The garden is enclosed although a short section is a low wall of around 2 feet high. There are several easy walks from the cottage, and Morannedd beach at Criccieth is around half an hours walk from Eisteddfa.
