Coach House Faner

Beautiful location, lovely cottage and very spacious, David and Fiona are amazing, David has a smallholding with sheep, ducks and chicken, great for kids, Gary from Coastal holidays was spot on with the booking, we loved Anglesey and hopefully will return some day. Aug 2024

We had stayed at Coach House Faner six years ago and our grandchildren (now 11 and 13, with a 6 year old who was not with us last time) have been talking about it ever since. We hadn’t managed to return until now and are so pleased that we did. Everything was as good as we had all remembered. Excellent property, comfortable, well-equipped and a good location. David and Fiona are ideal hosts, welcomed us, showed us around and had good advice on places to go, shops, etc. The children, particularly the 6 year old, enjoyed helping with the hens and ducks on the smallholding; thank you, David, for your patience! The birds coming to the feeders also kept them interested. Coach House Faner is an ideal base for families. The children are already asking us when we are going again. July 2024

Our party of five adults enjoyed a 7 night stay at Coach House Faner. The owner greeted us on arrival and showed us around the accommodation and pointed out the accessible features as one of our party had restricted mobility. We felt relaxed from the start in the very well-equipped space and particularly enjoyed watching the birds and the outlook over the garden. There is so much to do on Anglesey and in the surrounding area. I'm sure we will return again soon. June 2023

Coach House Faner was a great place to stay, within easy reach of many locations in and around Anglesey. The owners, David and Fiona were fantastic, and a great source of local information. The accommodation was very well equipped with every conceivable kitchen tool available. If I had one issue, it would be the very patchy wi-fi which dropped out regularly. So much so, I switched it off and used 4G. The upside of this was my 10 year old had to talk to people rather than being glued to a device. All in all, highly recommended. Aug 2022

We spent a week here with our daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren. The little ones loved helping with the chickens and ducks. My husband loved watching the birds and red squirrel. Our first time at Coach House Faner, hopefully not our last. Good sized accommodation, with all the facilities we needed. We were made to feel part of the family by Fiona, David and lovely Lolly. Our days revolved around getting back home to put the 'animals' to bed. The children were so comfortable and I could see their confidence grow. Ideal location to get to anywhere on the island, and close to all amenities. David and Fiona are an fantastic source of local information. We have had the best holiday with memories that we will have forever. Thank you. July 2021

Excellent! When looking for a cottage I noticed the disabled motif so it caught my attention, we liked what we saw so decided to give it a try and were NOT disappointed. It was really designed for the less mobile with all aids at hand. The cottage is at the bottom end of a beautiful garden to look out on to, we watched the birds on the feeders and even saw a red squirrel it is ideal for children as the owner David has a smallholding with lambs and chickens that they can feed. It is very comfortably furnished and the beds are comfy also. David and Fiona live on-site they are very friendly and helpful but they are not intrusive. We had a great time there but the weather was too hot for us so we used the cottage more than usual and was truly thankful for the comfort the cottage gave us. We will certainly be going back. The family has been visiting the coach house for many years and we will return for many years to come. Wonderful hosts, fantastic location and facilities. Nothing ever too much for david and fiona. Fantastic disabled facilities and very accessible. Great for children too so covers all your holiday needs. Plenty of wonderful things to do and places to visit on the island, great places to eat, beautiful beaches and breathtaking views. The house is a lovely stroll away from the straits great to watch the unset. Plenty of wildlife around and a wondeful selection of birds visit the garden.
