The āView @ The Mooringsā is a first floor apartment on the edge of the water overlooking Cemaes Bay. Originally the apartment was part of a house built for a āSea Captainā.
Highly rated on TripAdvisor, it has breath taking sea views from the property, on the edge of the idyllic village of Cemaes.Ā Less than 5 minutes walk to the shops, pubs and cafes.
The large shared garden forms part of the sea wall, allowing direct access to the beach. The costal path passes directly outside the garden gates providing great coastal walks in either direction.
The āView @ The Mooringsā provides an ideal base for exploring the area. The large garden provides plenty of space for kayaks, plus storage for bicycles, fishing and beach equipment. For the adventurous there is a small slipway steps away from the gate which provides excellent launching for small sailing dinghyās and kayaks.
A fantastic location for a family holiday, walking, kayaking, sailing, cycling, birdwatching or fishing. A real versatile location !

The setting of property is really quite special, offering breath-taking sea views of Cemaes Bay, the village and across to National Trust land.
Whatever time of the year this coastal property offers exceptional views of the harbour and Cemaes Bay from the kitchen, lounge, bedroom and fabulous glass balcony.
Cemaes is a small fishing village with colourful houses, shops (Post Office, pharmacy, village stores) pubs, cafes and a Doctors surgery. It is located on the north coast of Anglesey and is a good starting point for coastal walks and bird watching. There is a nature reserve a few miles away at Cemlyn which is renowned for its bird watching and Church Bay further along the coast boasts a lovely beach with bistros serving locally caught lobster and crab.
At the eastern end of the village is a broad, flat, sandy beach which offers a great venue for sunbathing, swimming and water sports.
This apartment can sleep up to 5, book with āThe Mooringsā to accommodate a group of up to 14.

Kitchen / dining area
Wide panoramic windows provide an extensive view of the sea and bay from the kitchen table. The well equipped kitchen is light and airy with an electric cooker, fridge, freezer, brand new dishwasher, microwave, toaster and washer / dryer.
Lounge
The large bright lounge with sea views is open plan onto the kitchen / dinning area. It contains one 2-seater settee, 3 armchairs (one recliner), a 32in TV equipped with Freeview, a DVD player and a Bluetooth speaker. There is an attractive fireplace with a log burning stove. A selection of games and books is available from the cabinet beneath the TV but the view from the large patio doors is so captivating that it is difficult to concentrate on anything else! A pair of binoculars are provided.Ā The glass balcony with table and chairs offersĀ views over the sea and beach.
Bedroom 1
The King size double bed has matching bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, dressing table and a wardrobe. The room is enhanced by the decorative original fireplace and surround, competing for attention with the views of the sea and the village.
Bedroom 2
Triple bunk bed with a double at the bottom and the top is a standard single. There is also under bed storage, bedside table and a wardrobe with shelving area.

Bathroom
The family bathroom contains a full-size bath, a shower over the bath, a toilet, a hand basin and a heated towel rail.
Entertainment
32 inch TV, DVD player, Freeview, a selection of books and binoculars to spot the local seals and birds. Beach equipment including crabbing lines, buckets and spades are available in the garden storage area.
Outside
The property has the benefit of a large garden overlooking the bay and shared with the downstairs flat.Ā There is a decking area perched on the cliff ā another perfect spot to read the morning newspaper.

There is off road parking for one vehicle, with additional free parking spaces only meters away next to the seawall.

Cemaes Bay Harbour and beachĀ ā Cemaes is a gorgeous, unspoilt coastal village on the North coast of Anglesey, the most northerly village in Wales with a lovely little harbour and a wide sandy beach.
Llyn AlawĀ ā Enjoy a stroll along this large Anglesey reservoir. It covers 770 acres and has a number of walking trails along the water. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a destination for over-wintering birds. There are also wildflowers, butterflies and bird hides where you can look out for the variety of birds that visit the lake.
Melin Llynnon MillĀ āĀ Melin Llynnon, or Llynnon Mill, is a gristmill located on the outskirts of the village of Llanddeusant on the island of Anglesey. It is the only surviving working windmill in Wales. Lovely homemade food in the cafe.

We had a lovely comfortable week long stay at The View in Sept 23, as a family of 3 with a young daughter. The panoramic view of the bay is mesmerising. Weāve stayed in a few places in Cemaes Bay but this one has the best views. 18 steps up wasnāt a problem for us and the flat had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen and a good shower and bath. My daughter particularly loved the ladders over the garden wall to a āsecret beachā. We had a great time creating memories here and hope to return next year.

I definitely recommend The Moorings, this was our first visit to Anglesey & Cemaes Bay & we will definitely be back. The Moorings – Cemaes Bay was spotless with amazing views, gorgeous beach at the bottom of the garden & the Anglesey Coastal Path on the doorstep. The flat was spotless with amazing views over the bay. The beds were super comfy & it really was home from home for the week. Cannot rate this place highly enough ????āļø????

A wonderful location with spectacular views. The flat had everything you needed and a very helpful owner. Lots of lovely walks and cycles from the door. Excellent pie and pint at the Stag on a Monday night and the owner was welcoming.

Amazing location, breathtaking views. Well equipped kitchen and living area. Fabulous balcony and outdoor space. Lounge furniture a bit tired and grubby looking. Second bedroom quite basic with awful mattress on lower bed. Not really up to standard for the property. We did have a wonderful time but feel interior dƩcor needs some improvement.

Photographs of the views from the apartment do not really do it justice. Large balcony where we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast one hot day, people, dogs, sea birds, and RAF training aircraft providing plenty to watch. Large picture window in the kitchen/dining area and French doors from the sitting room onto the balcony provide equally magnificent Cemaes Bay views. Well appointed, good sized, comfortable apartment. Close to the few local shops and easy access to the Isle of Anglesey coastal path. We were lucky enough to see and capture a chough on camera walking along the coast path on our first day’s stay. Excellent location for fishing, paddle boarding, surfing, rock pooling.

A fantastic property in a beautiful location. The property is well presented and fully equipped making our week’s stay an absolute joy, and the view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. Would highly recommend this property and we will definitely stay again.

Our 2nd year in this excellently equipped accommodation with a wonderful view. Sadly we won’t be back unless they provide a strong man to take our luggage to and from the car for us. All the steps are too much for bad knees and backs.

Situated at the far end of Cemaes Bay in a very peaceful location with wonderful views over the whole of the bay. The accommodation was very comfortable and provided all we needed for a relaxing holiday.

We had a fantastic stay at The View! We spent hours looking at the view across the bay, watching the tide come and go and all the different sea birds. The apartment is very spacious and the kitchen very well equipped. The double bed was very comfortable and a very good shower, too. It’s less than 5 mins walk to 2 pubs, the convenience shop, great butcher and the best chippy on Anglesey – would highly recommend!

Perfect location for a short break but also for a longer visit. View to die for whatever the weather . Even in bad weather the view from the large windows was great lots to see. Would love to come back here again. Be careful if you have people in your party with mobility problems as steep steps but handrails good and safe if taking time. Overall an excellent stay at an amazing holiday let.

The apartment has an amazing view over Cemaes Bay and we loved being able to walk out directly onto the beach or the coast path. The steps up to the apartment are quite steep and shallow so not recommended for people with mobility issues. The kitchen in the apartment was very well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The leather chairs in the lounge were comfortable but we personally found the sofas were too soft and deep. Two things which would have improved our stay are some additional shelving in the bathroom and a fan oven rather than just conventional in the kitchen but these are just minor points and would not stop us from booking again.
