Seaview is located in the idyllic village of Pontrhypont (Four Mile Bridge) and provides an ideal base for exploring the fishing village, North Anglesey and beyond.
The setting of Seaview cottage is really quite special, offering spectacular views out to sea from the kitchen, lounge and bedroom, whatever time of the year. Four Mile Bridge is a small fishing village with a few shops, a cafe and a pub. It is located on the West coast of the island and is a good starting point for cliff walking, canoeing, windsurfing and dingy sailing. The property is located right next to the Coastal Path, an added bonus for those who seek active breaks.
Wide panoramic windows provide an extensive view of the bay from the kitchen table which provides seating for six. The recently refurbished light airy kitchen includes an electric cooker, fridge (freezer in utility room), dishwasher and toaster.
The utility room contains a washing machine, microwave, toilet, wash basin and small freezer.
The large welcoming lounge contains one 3-seater settee and one 2-seater cottage style chair, 18.5in TV equipped with Freeview and a DVD player. There is an attractive fireplace with elegant fire surround in which some logs are provided. A wide range of books is available from the book shelf but the view from the large bay window is so captivating that it is difficult to concentrate on anything else.
Pull out sofa in lounge
This bedroom has a double bed, large chests of drawers set, an armchair and a book shelf with a range of books competing for attention with the views of the sea and the village from the large window. TV with Freeview and DVD player
This bedroom contains two sets of bunk beds. While the bunk beds are normal size, they are more suitable for children. There is also a chest of drawers and a storage cupboard that contains a travel cot, high chair, extra bedding and a stair gate.

Trearddur Bay Beach – Trearddur Bay is a popular wide sandy bay backed by a sea wall and promenade located about 2 miles south of Holyhead. A dog ban operates on the southern half of the beach from 1st May to 30th September and beach wardens are on duty from late May to early September.
South Stack Lighthouse – The historic South Stack Lighthouse is located on a small island reached via a descent of 400 steps down the steep mainland cliffs. South Stack Rock lies separated from Holyhead Island by 30 metres of turbulent sea, surging to and fro in continuous motion. Visitors may tour the former lighthouse engine room before climbing to the top of the lighthouse. South Stack is a wonderful place to watch thousands of breeding seabirds including guillemots, razorbills and puffins.

The cottage was in a fantastic spot on the estuary, it was very clean and very well equipped, excellent for families with dogs, it was lovely and warm and we enjoyed a real fire every evening, the bed was extremely comfortable so we slept well every night after our days out walking the coastal paths, the walks around the estuary and surrounding areas were amazing, there were two small supermarkets, take-a-ways, a few restaurants and Enochs fish and chip shop (definitely recommend) just a short drive away, if you want posh this isn’t for you, if you want clean, want to feel at home and totally relaxed with your dog/s then it is.
Stayed at sea view for a week in June for a chill after my wife had a short illness and was this right place to relax fantastic views from the cottage and great walks straight from the door trearddur bay 2 mile walk has lovely clean beach the cottage itself was clean and dog friendly although we missed a freezer for ice
A great place to stay. It feels like a real home. And the views are amazing. the location is central.
Evenings walking, fishing, canoeing, sitting with a bottle of wine in the garden whatever you want to do it is on the doorstep (literally).
the only downside the location is popular and well known and sometimes friendly but quite noisy teenagers swim in the sea and sit on the grass by the cottage. But as they are no trouble and just enjoying themselves it is a great location
Went for the weekend with our friend who had booked it for us , she had stayed here before and really enjoyed herself. The place is in a great location right on the beach with fantastic views over Trearddur Bay. It was comfortable and big enough for the four of us. Slept well , beds comfy, kitchen had everything apart from a freezer, we wanted ice for our cocktails. Great break would go again.
This is my third time to sea view and it is set in a beautiful location. Whenever I have stayed before it has just been me and my husband. This time there were 4 of us and having 2 toilets was great. The light you get from the panoramic views of the sea is fantastic and as this was a winter visit we enjoyed log fires burning every night. the From a practical point of view the second couch was not so comfy and for the first time I slept in a corner bottom bunk which for an older adult it was hard to get in and out of. As it is my third time there I am starting to recognise the things that would make the stay even comfier and it would have been good to have a fridge freezer, or at least an ice box. I would definitely go again.
Well located for exploring west coast of Anglesey with lots of pet friendly beaches and hidden coves nearby. Small shale beach is right out of the back door !! Some good dog friendly pubs and restaurants a short drive away and great views all around. Cottage is nicely laid out with plenty of room for a family holiday. Worth mentioning that property does front directly onto road with car parking opposite so care needed with pets & children.
What can I say, returned here for a five night stay and it’s just a hidden gem. Sunsets are to die for and weather was perfect. Cottage is cosy and has everything you need. Perfect with kids (I think?) as you can kayak, swim or just paddle in the lake which is about 4foot at its deepest point. Perfect for paddle boarding and kayaking
Response to review :-
“Just seen the new review for Seaview, it’s great the guests have had another lovely stay but I know it sounds like a silly thing but the house isn’t on s lake it’s on the inland sea it has tides Which get quite strong by the bridge where the cottage is and it gets a great deal deeper than 4ft if you go further away from the bridge.”
Just wow! Arrived at Seaview and just absolutely blown away by the setting. Surrounded by the sea on 3 sides. Pictures don’t do it justice. The cottage is very cosy and the open log fire was just great. It has everything you need to cook etc and has a dishwasher and washing machine. I had two dogs with me who loved the area at the back of the cotta age. Its grassy banked on a coastal path with the sea literally a stones throw from the back door. 5 mins down the road is a spar, butchers, Indian and Chinese takeaways and the absolute best fish and chip shop Enoch! Buy everything when you get there. The cottage does not provide welcome pack so bear that in mind. After a perfect three night stay I’ve already booked to come back in may. L
Just returned from a 3 night stay with a friend and my two dogs. The cottage was very clean and cosy with everything just as described. Views of the inland sea from every window!! Very well equipped and spacious kitchen/diner and handy utility for drying off the dogs! From the patio, which gets the sun from midday to dusk, it is literally 10 metres or so to the waters edge. We loved it and will most definitely return.
Beautiful location and stunning views from the kitchen. Lovely walks on the doorstep and not too far to other attractions. Nice homely touches like lots of games and leaflets made it a very welcoming place to stay. Is on the road to Holyhead so be careful if you park on the road ourside as our wing mirror was caught when we parked there by another car.
Spent 3 nights here with my good friend and her two dogs. We had a super time, cottage very clean and well equipped. The inland sea literally was just a few steps from the back door!! The views from every room were fantastic – although there was a dish washer it was a joy to wash up looking out at the views!! Would highly recommend it and we will most certainly return soon.
A pleasant house with an eclectic mix of furnishings. Fantastic views over the water. Easy reach of amenities. Parking across the way. A strange mix of provisions in the cottage e.g. dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, washing powder, but no soap or handwash. Linen provided but no towel for the downstairs loo. Nowhere to put your hot drinks in the lounge. But these are problems that occur in many self-catering properties. Overall this was a great place to stay.
