  • I was stuck and looking for a last min.com when a friend recommended Penrhyn cottage in Cemaes Bay on the lovely Island of Anglesey. Well, what a little gem it turned out to be. Myself and my trusty four legged companion called Be fell in love with this beautiful little cottage, with all its home comforts, comfy beds, great kitchen and all very clean and tidy. The living room is a great chill room with views out to sea, binoculars and a telescope there for our use. They’ve thought of everything, even crockery for eating outdoors in fair weather. Walks along the coast right from the door.During my stay we had really bad weather but the cottage was lovely and warm when we returned from Be’s walk around the bay. Theres great amenities a short walk, chipy, cafes, pub chemist etc.I Would recommend this cottage and come back again.

  • Feb 2020. What a wonderful cottage. Beautifully renovated but still nice and quirky. Some nice homely touches. Comfortable, warm and clean. Everything you need right here. Very well equipped. They’ve thought of everything, even crockery EYs for eating outdoors in fair weather. Electric radiators very easy to control to the right temperature for you. Views of the sea from the living room window. Having the telescope and binoculars available is a great idea. Spent ages looking at sea birds and the rolling waves. Very quiet locality. Walks along the coast right from the door. The cottage was lovely and warm to come back to after a long blustery and rainy stroll along the coast and Cemaes Bay. Amenities/ shops / chemist/ chippy walking distance. Only two of us stayed but easy room for four. Beds very comfortable. Extra blankets if you like extra warmth. Would recommend this cottage and come back again.

  • Pleasantly surprised by this lovely cottage which is in a great location in quiet surroundings. The cottage is well furnished, clean, tastefully decorated and cosy. All the appliances worked perfectly and we had a wonderful stay. We really appreciated the red wine and cava, plus the cake and biscuits, very nice touch. We had a very relaxing stay and we hope to return soon.

  • “I’m afraid we only have 2 legs but Ian and I have loved staying in your cottage this week. You are a very lucky dog to be able to go on long walks in this beautiful area. Please thank Janet for the Prosecco and biscuits – so thoughtful!”

    Aug 2019

  • We recently spent a weekend at Penrhyn Cottage
We felt most welcome and comfortable at the cottage, and that the owner had considered all our needs. We sat outside in the evening and really enjoyed the enclosed area to eat and the soft lights in the garden. The location was perfect for walks with the dog, and it was an easy walk to dog friendly pubs
We are already planning our next visit
