Hendy – Tyddyn Mon

Ideal property for a brilliant holiday. Couldn't have asked for any more. We had both floors and there was plenty of room for all. Came last year as well and would highly recommend this property for location cleanliness facilities space. I will definitely be looking to book again in the future. Thank you. Aug 2025

This is the 2nd year we have had a large family group at Ty Hendy occupying both floors. The location is brilliant. We had a lovely walk from the house to Llygwy beach and along the coast path to Moelfre. Several other beautiful beaches are a short drive away. The house is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The upstairs kitchen is well equipped and we had a very thoughtful welcome pack on arrival. The grounds have a small playground and woodland activity area. When the pancake house is open there is a soft play area attached. There is a minor drawback in terms of sound insulation between the upper kitchen area and one of the lower bedrooms and this could disturb the sleep of people below. But since we were occupying both floors we weren’t too inconvenienced by it. Aug 2025

This is the third year we have stayed, the whole family oldest 82 youngest 10 months. Once again we have had an amazing time, there is so much room ,which enables the children to enjoy themselves to the fullest. The indoor and outdoor play areas are great and the pancake house is the icing on the cake ( the children are already planning what they are having next year ). We will definitely be back next year. What an amazing property. It was perfect from start to finish, accommodating 16 people with ease. Each bedroom had plenty of storage space and the double rooms were huge. The upstairs lounge and kitchen became the hub of the weekend and kids and adults had plenty of space. The outside surroundings are very child friendly with lots of grass to walk and play. The pancake house was a particular favourite for the kids and adults alike. It's 10 minutes from a brilliant beach and good pubs and takeaways. A perfect location. Apr 2025

We recently stayed at Hendy - Tyddyn Mon for a 3 generation celebration of a special birthday. Michelle welcomed us and was very friendly and informative. The house is very spacious, there was plenty of room for everybody and provided everything we needed. It was very clean and well decorated, furniture all modern and in good condition. The weather wasn't kind to us but the children in our party still loved going outside to explore and playing hide and seek in the house. Nov 2024

Stayed at Hendy with family hired both apartments 17 of us. I was pleasantly surprised with the space and cleanliness of the apartments it was very comfortable and had everything you could need for a large family holiday. Ideal place and would recommend to anyone visiting Anglesey. Aug 2024

The property was extremely comfortable and spacious and very well equipped. There were just one or two kitchen items missing, one being a larger teapot and tea cozy for same, just a small item. Cleanliness was excellent in all rooms and facilities first class. On site staff were very helpful and friendly. Aug 2024

The location is great, 20 mins walk from the sea and we were so lucky with the weather! The fact that the property is right next to a big field with a playground and the Pancake House with a soft play area made it perfect for our group with 3 kids under six years old. Michelle was a very responsive and friendly host. Only issue is that sound of footsteps travels downwards so if you are on the top floor you need to be quiet moving around. Otherwise a lovely accessible home for a big family. July 2024

We stayed at Tyddyn Mon last year as a 4 generation family, and booked again for the same weekend this year. Our stay was even better, our great grandchildren, another year older, made it for all of us. The house is ideal, as there is room outside for the children to play and the outside and inside play areas were very popular, not forget the chickens, who were a big favorite with the 20 month old. The facilities in the house were second to non, cots, highchairs and bed guard provided on request. We will definitely go back, probably next year. Mustn't forget the pancake house, where we had a great lunch on the Saturday. May 2024
