This an extremely well equipped accommodation, very clean., modern, comfortable.and dog friendly with an exceptionally secure garden for our escape artist spaniel. My only disappointment was that it was very difficult finding pubs or restaurants in the out of season period without travelling dome distance, but we were there in out of season period. Nov 2024

We have been coming to Anglesey as often as possible since our retirement and usually stay either in Beaumaris or near Church Bay so Aberffraw was new to us, quite different from either and we absolutely loved the area. The house on Church Street suited our needs so well. It was very important that our two dogs (spaniels) could be managed easily so that we could all enjoy our holiday. The garden was completely secure with sufficient outside space for them to run around first thing and at bedtime and they were in doggy heaven within a five minute walk from the house, amongst the sand dunes or down by the river. The house has a useful sun room at the back, perfect for managing sandy feet and outdoor clothing. All the floors downstairs are tiled or wooden too so no worries about spoiling carpets. The kitchen had all the expected appliances and inventory so we found everything we needed. The lounge had lots of comfortable seating for recovering from our explorations and we managed to navigate the tv settings via our personal log in details! The upstairs accommodation was equally satisfactory with 3 good sized bedrooms, family bathroom with large walk-in shower and one en suite in the room we chose. The house is in the heart of the village and has no far reaching views from the windows but this was not a problem as you could be in the wide open surroundings in a couple of minutes walk. Also important to us was off road parking at the property. Aberffraw village is not pretty but it had its own charm and people were friendly. Fantastic to find a shop and Post Office round the corner and Y Goron pub recently reopened and gearing up to do meals as well as drinks (October 2024). The Llys Llewelyn kitchen, five minutes walk from the house, did delicious food and local deli items. Excellent value for money and we would happily recommend to others. We had a fantastic stay! Perfect location for us, loved being right by the beach and the gorgeous coastline but close enough to drive and walk Snowdonia up the Rhyd Ddu path. Fabulous base for the coastal walk about Anglesey. Attractive village with all the basics with massive beach. Access to first class hiking from the doorstep or a short easy drive to other starting points. Good accommodation for the two of us with parking and easy access to Camaes. Sept 2024

"The View" lives up to its name. It is fascinating to watch the tide and bay continuously changing. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. Cemaes is a good starting point for some excellent coastal walks and we spotted dolphins and grey seals. Another interesting walk was the Copper Mine Trail near Almwch. Sept 2024

Excellent accommodation for me and my parents in their 80s that needed somewhere beautiful yet easy to live in and I needed somewhere with good Wi-Fi to be able to work at times. A very comfortable and warm house in the super little village of Aberffraw on the Isle of Anglesey. Lots of room for ourselves and my parents. The house had everything we needed, including the necessary EV charger. The furnishings in the house are lovely and I liked that it wasn't cluttered with ornaments. Loved the L-shaped sofa too. The community is very friendly and welcoming. The walk down by the water led to a beautiful beach and sea, absolutely gorgeous. We even had the delights of a film crew on one night and got to meet the wonderful Sean Bean!!! Lots to see and do around the area, it's a great part of the world. Sept 2024

It’s a lovely bungalow, with a really peaceful and relaxing garden. Situated right at the Malltraeth Estuary. We’ve been to Anglesey numerous times, so knew the location. For others who may not have visited before, it’s worth noting, to get the best of Anglesey, you need to travel around the island. Simdde Wen is perfectly located in the centre of Beaumaris. It was beautifully presented and very well equipped, feeling sufficiently spacious for a grown up family of 5. It is a spacious cottage was clean on arrival and in an ideal location within walking distance to shop pubs a hotel cafes and most importantly a great beach for dogs to run .We did have a problem with the decking area but the owner sorted it the same day .My only wish was for a TV in the downstairs kitchen as I have a mobility problem and couldn’t get up to comfortable lounge upstairs to watch tv .However there are bedrooms downstairs which was a bonus for me .Plenty of free parking across the road with disabled spaces too .The games room was good for pool competitions. I cant praise this holiday property enough...to start with on arrival there is a key codecso really easy. Inside on arrival property was spotlessly clean. Lovely touches that made lofe with a todler so easy. Dishwasher tablets, washing capsules, bottle of prosecco all supplied. Everything you would need to relax was there. Sensor lights which helps a little one if they wake and not sure where they are. A window from kitchen to hugh conservatory so i could watch toddler when i was in the kitchen. Lovely flow to the property. Then the view...stunning doesnt capture the view. Plus the sunsets out to sea which is beautiful. So relaxing. Hottub brilliant! All the bedrooms were nicely decorated so home from home feel. The beach is sandy and only a few minutes walk from the proprty so again ideal for a young family. The cafe in the village does lovely food too. To top it off we left some clothes behind in one of the bedrooms...lorraine spotted this before we did a is posting them back for us. What a gem. On arriving in Cemaes Bay we were struck by the peace and breathtaking views of the bay. Penrhyn Cottage did certainly not disappoint and my husband and I just smiled at each other on driving up to the property. It promised to be dog friendly and it certainly was - Molly had her own bowls, blankets, treats and balls! The view of the sea from the upstairs lounge was the icing on the cake and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already talked about returning again. If there was any criticism at all is that one more saucepan (only one as part of a steamer) would make cooking easier and there was a lot of cobwebs and spiders so the cleaning could have been a bit more thorough but it's a big job to clean a house from top to bottom every changeover and didn't take long to hoover them up myself. Thank you for a really enjoyable stay - and also the whole booking process was superb so 10/10 to the customer service team! Aug 2024

We are a family party of 8 and had a lovely relaxed break. Entertained ourselves with the various board games on site. The beach was 3 mins walk and beautiful, we even saw dolphins or whales - we couldnt decide. Caernarfon was really close by and the castle is well worth the visit. A beautiful, spacious house with stunning views over the sea from almost every room. The lounge with its giant comfy sofa was great to relax on and take in the stunning views all around. First impressions, wow! The sunset over the sea and the architecture of the property to take advantage of it is just stunning. Not anything I’ve had the pleasure of seeing so beautifully before. We had stayed at Coach House Faner six years ago and our grandchildren (now 11 and 13, with a 6 year old who was not with us last time) have been talking about it ever since. We hadn’t managed to return until now and are so pleased that we did. Everything was as good as we had all remembered. Excellent property, comfortable, well-equipped and a good location. David and Fiona are ideal hosts, welcomed us, showed us around and had good advice on places to go, shops, etc. The children, particularly the 6 year old, enjoyed helping with the hens and ducks on the smallholding; thank you, David, for your patience! The birds coming to the feeders also kept them interested. Coach House Faner is an ideal base for families. The children are already asking us when we are going again. July 2024

The location is great, 20 mins walk from the sea and we were so lucky with the weather! The fact that the property is right next to a big field with a playground and the Pancake House with a soft play area made it perfect for our group with 3 kids under six years old. Michelle was a very responsive and friendly host. Only issue is that sound of footsteps travels downwards so if you are on the top floor you need to be quiet moving around. The property was excellent with a well tended enclosed garden. The barbecue and hot tub were a particular hit. Rooms were spacious and well equipped with the exception of the double bedroom. This was quite small and the bed was very soft and uncomfortable. There was parking for 3 cars right by the front door. We stayed at Tyddyn Mon last year as a 4 generation family, and booked again for the same weekend this year. Our stay was even better, our great grandchildren, another year older, made it for all of us. The house is ideal, as there is room outside for the children to play and the outside and inside play areas were very popular, not forget the chickens, who were a big favorite with the 20 month old. The facilities in the house were second to non, cots, highchairs and bed guard provided on request. We will definitely go back, probably next year. Mustn't forget the pancake house, where we had a great lunch on the Saturday. May 2024

We were fortunate to stay at Ysgubor while having renovation work done on our house. The host was very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The cottage had everything we could absolutely need and more. It was comfortable, very clean and the fittings and furniture were all of a high standard. We couldn’t have asked for more and we highly recommend the accommodation. The location is very convenient being close to the A55 and there is ample parking. The house is superb. We were a 3 generation party of 15 celebrating a 60th birthday and New Year. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable and mainly ensuite. The upstairs lounge and kitchen/dining room easily accommodated us all. The house is in a fairly remote location but we had everything we needed for the weekend delivered by asda. Any last minute items were easily accessible by car from the Tesco express in Benllech. The local area provided lots of walks along the beaches and coastal paths.
